Say oui to Winter! Cube PR press day

Thursday was quite a hectic day for everyone since there were so much press days whoopie. After my trip down to Harvey Nics I went to Holborn, where Cube PR had their press day took place. Cube stocks a range of labels, from amazing Camilla Skovgaard shoes to East London concept store 123, Cube covers edgy labels as well as quality labels that embraces the English heritage. It was such pleasant experience to have visited the press day, not to mention their amazing lunch and very generous goodie bags ekkkkee.

123 is a multi-brand concept store on Bethnal Green Road with everything covered, edgy new labels like Noki Noir as well as in house designed homeware products made out of one-of-a-kind vintage fabrics. Since I love concept stores in general and it kind of ignited my inner obsessions with florals, laces and heart shaped cushions (this is the best kept secret of me because I think I'm the last person on earth who can wear florals), I'd be delighted to pop down and have a stroll in the 4 floored new found gem on a sunny day.

Camilla Skovgaard's shoes are rather new to me, having barely seen a few pairs of shoes in the range, the new collection lured me to stop by and observed them carefully with their beautiful constructions, these shoes just have a lot of head turning potentials!

Chapman hand craft English bags, again I'm having a does of English heritage and can't help snapping their look books, just in case I won the lottery hehe.
I've seen wallets made out of paper but this label just does it even better.
Cube covers different lines from Henry Lloyd, which demonstrates the beauty of English heritage in its main line as well as a HL jeans co, featuring a comparatively laid back style. quilted trainers? Yes yes yes.

I'm still half way of my press days reviews and I've got a million other posts to go, just in case you've got nothing to do during the triple bank holidays, hope you all have had a great weekend :)!

Say oui to Winter! Get me a fix Harvey Nics press day

I liked Mary Katrantzou's printed silk dresses when she first came out but now I'm officially in love with her stuff, this dress is made of some similar material as the Cacharel jacket I came across at Village Press, it feels like the dress is the canvas and the genius has just finished her masterpiece.

Sometime you just won't understand why some designers are so popular until you see the actual garment, right Louise Gray?

These Felicity Brown are some amazing wearable sculptures.

Kirkwood ditched his signature heels into jaw dropping 7'' wedges, joining Nina Ricci, and Balenciaga for some GaGa-esque footwear family, LOVE.

I seriously am gonna save up for these Phillip Lim because they walked out from my dream!

One of the most exciting press days in town is Harvey Nichols without a doubt. I'm not a frequent visitor of department stores since I can't afford pretty much anything and I've got a little phobia against department stores. However I knew Harvey Nics' press day is not going to let me down, knowing they've got some beautiful award-winning windows which pretty much demonstrate how daring their approach to fashion, having their range stocked with labels like Felicity Brown, Mugler and Lucy in Disguise, Harvey Nic's won my heart yehh. It's amazing how they arrange the garments not by brands but by colour, style and perhaps theme? It seems winter is never just muted tones to Harvey Nics, Bright blue Jil Sander with orange Dries van Noten, mad palettes in Louise Gray, fox print dresses by We are Handsome, perhaps this is the first time I know how important having a good buyer in the store. The press day was quite a blast and definitely made my day!

Say oui to Winter! Spring London press day

Spring London press day
Spring London carries a lot of luxury brands and its nice to see something different, that's why I decided to invade their press office and have a peek..
Herve Leger always give me a feeling of the girls (you know who) and for their new collection, they've shorten their hem line (now just Samantha) and they obviously look younger and more user friendly, having a loyal clientele like Rihanna, I'm sure they are going better and better.

Also loving the Hand Written red Corduroy cape and this polka dot bodysuit, I'm think a pin up little red riding hood haha.

Say oui to Winter! Bloody Gray press day

Bloody Gray and Viking Wong press day
Bloody Gray has always been associated with edgy and up and coming brands (which is why I love it) I've been anticipating for their press day and obviously it didn't let me down. Labels such as Rachel Freire and Two weeks have never fail to surprise. For AW11, Rachel Freire remains its wow factors with show piece standard garments and luxe hand crafted leather and sheer panels. Mesh and spandex trouser leggings with suspender belts are definitely something worth lusting after, if you think you can't pull it off, I'm sure Jessie J can do this for you.

Emma Griffith's AW11 collection concentrates on structure but also demonstrating high versatility. It reminds me of Gareth Pugh so much but a more wearable version. Whilst using felt and wood as the collection's main material, they still look pretty sexy with their clever use of negative space to emphasize body contours.

East London based label Agi and Sam definitely can make some noise with this collection. Super manic colour burst palette with optical prints, this is nothing but East London. And since they have got so much colour, every one of them looks like they are such statement pieces and I hope you can see how beautifully printed they are. Perhaps this is the first time I don't mind wearing smiley biscuits walking down the street.

Viking Wong's collection emphasizes on a clean and minimal vibe whilst he added some details on every piece of garment to make it a little more interesting than your essentials wardrobe. I'm in love with this Grey mohair coat.

Martina Spetlova's super gorge collection is another label worth eying up next season. The label has basically everything I want: really luxe leather, zips and GLITTERSSS! Martina masters a sophisticated use of colour and through understanding to her materials, the jacket appeared to be Balenciaga's long lost sister (this is a good thing to be honest). Becc the director of Bloody gray told me everybody freaked out when they saw her wearing the collection in Paris, surprise surprise! I won't mind having just one piece of fabric scrap of Martina's collection as a matter of fact hehe.

Elephant pendent by Dominique Lucas? Yes please!

LC-DB's AW collection is all about amazing fabric and those silver hardware are killers. As usual I'm in love with textured leathers such as fish skin, printed snake skin leather is also one of my favs.

These are some highlights of the press day, it was amazing to see so many up and coming new labels in town and be sure to stay tuned for more press day posts ♥
